Norway House Extension

In Vestland County, Norway, a family of four felt that their home was confined and decided to build an extension to suit their needs better. Their primary requirements for the new space included:

  • A spacious kitchen with a large preparation area to accommodate their frequent cooking.
  • A living room designed to fit their large table, complemented by a fireplace.
  • A dedicated pantry for additional storage.
  • An easily accessible staircase leading to the basement.

The final design thoughtfully considers the region’s dark winter days and heavy snowfall while maximizing the home’s connection to the sweeping, picturesque views of the Norwegian landscape.

The construction will take place in May of 2025.
