Glimt (Glimpse) is a pop-up information hub, created for the Lund municipality to showcase the city’s summer events. The project’s challenge lay in seamlessly integrating the structure into a busy square consisting of strong architectural language. We aimed to create a design that would coexist harmoniously and offer practical features.
This included a system for regularly changing posters and providing a comfortable resting place for passersby in transit. Furthermore, the structure was engineered to withstand Lund’s heavy rain and wind. Notably, the design and construction of the structure were completed in just one month.

Concept: Window into the City
The structure’s design takes inspiration from Lund’s history as an educational centre and its prized jewel, the Lund Cathedral, thereby symbolizing the city’s heritage and importance.
The chosen site is located right before the train station, creating the city’s first impression. At this point, the structure functions as a window, providing a glimpse into the city’s activities.
